Identify and explain at least three advantages and three disadvantages of the collaborative writing process in 200 to 300 words. In what situations might an individual writing process be preferable? Three advantages of Collaborative writing process: • Wider Expertise, Skills, and broader Knowledge advantages. The combination of thoughts and experience will offer a wider variety of ideas and resources than that of a single person. • Wider Responsibility. Time can be an issue for some, so breaking down parts for individual writers to handle will save time and writers can learn from one another. • Diverse Opinions. Collaboration also allows for the writing process to be more productive, gain feedback from group participation and proof reading. This way goals would be achieved more efficiently.
